Trip to Iceland for the Northern Lights

In October, I was fortunate enough to fulfill my dream of witnessing the Northern Lights in Iceland, a gift to myself for my 40th birthday. I rented a car and journeyed through the southern part of the country. I lodged in an incredible transparent igloo hotel room, allowing me to watch the Northern Lights throughout the night. Despite the rain and fog that persisted during most of the trip, we were lucky to have a clear and beautiful night when we stayed in the igloo.
